I refuse to not do things because I'm afraid.
In fact, if something scares me, it makes me want to do it even more.
Public speaking. Swimming with sharks. Bungee jumping. The world's biggest swing. Traveling to Europe alone. Writing my thoughts on the internet for strangers to read and maybe even judge. Creating content that shows my face in it. Starting a business or two. Becoming a mum. Falling in love. Speaking my mind. Being myself.
These are all things that scared the sh*t out of me, but I did them all. I did them despite how scared I was and every single one of those things has turned out beautifully. I have learnt lessons and had incredible experiences because I did the things that scared me and I have zero regrets.
If you're holding back from something because you're afraid, ask yourself... what do I gain from holding myself back from doing the things I truly want to do?
