how do I become more present when I'm so busy?

Newcastle Australian Holistic Counsellor & Wellbeing Coach

This is a question I get with almost every single client.

Becoming more present isn't about adding more to your to-do list. It's about becoming present in the things you're already doing.

You can become more present in just about any activity by putting your phone down and using your senses.

For example, you can be present while doing the dishes by feeling the warmth of the water against your skin, smelling the scents of your dishwashing liquid and watching the bubbles pop against the cutlery.

There are always tools you can add to help, such as meditation, but when you're already running around and incredibly busy, sometimes the answer isn't more.
