you have to work for what you want if it's important to you.

You have to work for what you want if it's important to you.

I want to do handstands. I really want to do them. I don't know why, it's just one of those little random things I've love to do.

I see people doing them and dream of myself doing them. Even Karl looks at people in the gym and thinks of how I want to do them.

But I don't practise. I don't look at techniques on how to do them. I don't stretch my wrists or jump against a wall. I don't look into balance workshops or handstand workshops. I don't put any effort into doing handstands. In fact, I put literally 0% effort into it... but I absolutely want to do them.

The truth is, it's not important to me.

I dream of doing handstands but is it a priority? Nope. Will I ever put the work in? Who knows. Do I still want to learn to do them? Yes.

If it's important to you, you have to do the work. You have to put the time, energy, space and maybe even money into it. And if it's really important to you, you will.

Handstands aren't important enough for me. But supporting my mental health is. Spending time with my children is. Seeking support and continually growing is. Creating magical content is.

Maybe one day I'll learn how to do a handstand, but for now, it's not important enough.

With love & support,
