Counselling:

Coaching:

  • Focuses on the present, the future and personal growth

  • Helps you to unlock potential, reach goals and create an incredible life for yourself

  • Supports you to find answers within yourself

  • Helps you move from feeling 0 to +10


Both counselling and coaching:

  • Offers a safe space to be speak openly and freely

  • Neutral, non-judgmental and supportive relationship between professional and client

  • Life-changing


I utilise tools from both the counselling and coaching space because I know there is value from both areas. Both counselling and coaching impacted my life in incredible ways!


These lists are absolutely not exhaustive, and I could have gone on for days. Some counsellors or coaches may also believe they are different again, depending upon their specialities and focuses but this is a really simple way to compare the two and how I like to differentiate them!
