You start meditating and after a few weeks, you’re feeling ‘better’. You’re more relaxed. Your mind is clearer. You’re enjoying your days more. So you stop meditating because ‘it worked and now you can stop’.
You start journaling and after a few days, your mind is no longer a mess. You have more clarity. More direction. More joy. So you stop journaling because ‘it worked and now you can stop’.
You started 1:1 work with a counsellor or coach and after a few sessions, you feel f*cking amazing. You finally feel like you’re on the right track. You feel aligned. You look at yourself in the mirror and feel love, for the first time in years. So you don’t book your next session because ‘it worked and now you can stop’.
This work doesn’t stop. If you want to feel all of those amazing things, you need to consistently do the work. You need to show up for yourself. You need to commit and decide that you want to feel f*cking great all of the time and not give up.
Don’t stop when things get good. Use that time to go deeper than the surface level stuff.
