the fear of booking to see a counsellor or coach

Updated: Mar 21

Booking in to see a counsellor or coach for the first time can be scary.

I remember being SO nervous for my first session (more than 10 years ago). I actually wanted to cancel because I felt sick from the nerves.

I thought I would be judged. Ridiculed. Misunderstood. Laughed at. I thought it would be a waste of time. Money. Energy.

But my god, I'm glad I didn't cancel because it was the first step to changing my life and getting out of the dark hole I was in.

After my first session, I felt lighter. Calmer. Understood. And each session after that helped me edge closer and closer to living a happier, healthier life.

The truth is, I wouldn't be where I am without that professional support.

If you've been considering booking a session than this is for you... you will not be judged, misunderstood or ridiculed. Working 1:1 with someone will be the greatest thing you will ever do.

There is a stigma that you need to be struggling to get support but you can also get support when you're not struggling.

I actually encourage it. Some of our best growth can happen when we have the opportunity to dive deeper than the surface level stuff we experience on a day-to-day basis.

So either way... it's so important to get support when you're not doing okay but it's equally important to get support when you are doing okay.

If you're interested in growing, finding your self-love again and all of the goodness I offer, I'd love to chat! 💖
