Well, we made it! We survived 2020 and we are now officially in 2021.
I wasn't sure if I would make it, to be honest, it was definitely a tough one. But, here I am, living to tell the tale (as some would say).
This week's blog is about my plans for 2021 and I guess what I want to achieve. I don't like to set 'New Years Resolutions' because I like to set my goals whenever I want too, I don't like to wait for a new year to start working towards something. But, in saying that, I do review quite a lot in December each year and in January, I re-evaluate where I'm at and make sure I'm still on track.
I do this for both my businesses and personally, but I'm just going to focus on my personal goals for this blog.
Throughout last year, I had set several personal goals:
♡ Meditate more
♡ Move my body more
♡ Renovate my bathroom
♡ Travel more
♡ Journal more
♡ Buy an investment property
I actually achieved every single goal except for travel more, which was unfortunately out of my control.
This year, I've dived deeper into several areas of my life, including my relationship with Karl, my parenting, my mental health & growth, my physical health and my businesses.
I have set some goals already, which I will review each quarter to see how I've gone and what I can improve on or spend more time doing. Here they are:
♡ Listen and trust what my body needs
♡ Remember to take care of myself
♡ Continue reading, meditating and journaling
♡ Go on more walks
♡ Take our caravan away more
♡ Be more gentle, calm and patient with my parenting
♡ Spend more time alone with Karl
Whenever I set goals, I want them to be realistic, otherwise, I'm just setting myself up for failure. So, instead of writing 'journal every day', I write 'journal more' because it honestly is not possible for me to journal every single day, this year, I'll be having another baby and I'm sure I'm going to be busy. I can't commit to every single day, but I can definitely commit to more.
I want 2021 to be smooth, happy and full of love, growth and self-care. I'm focusing on that. Spend some time today to think of how you want this year to be for you.
With love
