If you have an experience that you deem as negative and fall into victimhood (I’ve been there!), then simply changing your language can help your mind find the positive in almost every single experience.
And sometimes, it isn’t quite that easy in the moment but I like to reflect on times of my life that were particularly difficult and find the positive. I can see the positive to every single negative experience I’ve endured.
Self-harm leading to making an impact in this world. Car accidents leading to businesses. Losing almost all of my belongings in a storm leading to meeting my partner. Extreme burn-out leading to hiring a life-changing assistant.
