If you continue to pretend you're not hurting, how do you expect to heal?


You will never heal if you continue pretending that everything is okay.


If you truly want to heal (emotionally, mentally, physically, spiritually or in any other way, shape or form) then you need to let yourself admit what you're currently feeling.


The first step to any healing, but especially trauma healing, is acknowledging what is really going on inside. It's allowing yourself to see, hear and feel the thoughts, stories, sensations and feelings within your mind, body and soul.


I encourage you to check-in with yourself and acknowledge what is really going on and if needed, seek support. You don't need to feel this way forever because life gets to feel really, really good.
