It's common to feel like life is at a standstill after a traumatic experience. Traumatic experiences can change us, and it can feel easier to ignore it and all of the thoughts that come with it. It can feel easier to push it aside and pretend it didn't happen.
And maybe that works for a little while, or maybe it even works for a few years until it stops working. Because it will stop working... you won't be able to avoid it forever, but I do have good news... healing can also change us.
Allowing yourself to feel, experience and heal that experience will change you in ways you won't be able to imagine.
