~ Eat a balanced diet and exercise
~ Don't be afraid to talk about your feelings
~ Make sure you practise self-care daily
~ Spend time with loved ones
~ Engage in activities that boost your mood
~ Write down 3 things you're grateful for
~ Plan activities that make you feel good
~ Challenge negative thoughts
~ Observe and assess your emotions as they come up
~ Find your support team and reach out when you need (close friends, counsellors, coaches ect)
The first step to becoming mentally healthy is acknowledging that it may need some additional help and learning about it, so even if you're at this first step, I'm so so proud of you.
