Goodbye 2022, hello 2023

Mindfulness, Mind, Body, Soul Wellness & Healing | Counsellor & Mental Health and Wellbeing Coach in Newcastle Australia

As we close out 2022, I am focusing on a few things...

  • Setting and holding clear boundaries

  • Prioritising resting and relaxing

  • Investing in my support team now

  • Letting go of what no longer feels aligned

  • Getting organised for the new year

  • Tying up any loose ends professionally and personally

  • Booking my first trip away

  • Clearing any energy that isn’t serving me

Before we close out 2022, I'd love to ask you, what beautiful things have you experienced this year?

I encourage you to sit with this. Take some time to reflect on the beautiful things that have happened to and for you this year. Allow yourself to feel into the 2022 and all of the beauty that came to you over the last 12 months.

And in just a short little while, I will be welcoming 2023 hard.

A year that will be filled with love, light and laughter.

A year that will be filled with good energy, joy and presence.

A year that will be filled with success, wealth and celebration.

A year that will be filled with rest, relaxation and rejuvenation.

A year that will be filled with pure fucking magic.

I didn't necessarily set any New Year's resolutions because I like to look at my goals quarterly, but I did check-in with the habits and routines I want to either continue (I do most of these already) or start to embody in 2023...

  1. Taking my daily supplements

  2. Going for regular walks in the fresh air and sunshine

  3. Using a tongue scraper (if you haven’t tried this, I highly recommend, it’s somehow super gross but also super satisfying haha)

  4. Write every single day

  5. Stretching daily

  6. Listen to what my body needs each day and provide it

  7. Take breaks throughout my days

  8. Lower my screen-time

  9. Read at least 1 fiction book a month

  10. Drink lots of water daily

  11. Feel the fear and do it anyway, whatever ‘it’ is

  12. Keep promises to myself

  13. Meditate at least 5 times a week

  14. Continue growing

  15. Enjoy the small moments by being more present

  16. Outsource more work to my assistant

  17. Take more holidays and time off of work

  18. Stay up to date with my important appointments like pap smears, skin checks and blood tests

  19. Utilise external support like coaches and therapists

  20. Plan things in advance with to-do lists, reminders and calendars so I can stay organised

  21. Give back more frequently (financially, with resources and with time)

  22. Practise gratitude every single day

  23. Spend more quality time with myself, my partner and my kids

What healthy habits or routines are you going to continue or embody in 2023? Reach out to me on Instagram and let me know, I'd love it!

If you're ready to work with someone on your mental health, let's talk about working together. Whilst I don't believe in the whole "new year, new me" business, I do believe in people setting intentions and committing to creating a beautiful support team to navigate life. And that's what I'm here for.

With love & support,
