Anybody who knows me knows I like to be organised and prepared.

I don't like last minute plans. I plan all birthdays months in advance. I do Christmas shopping in Sep/ Oct every year. My cupboards are filled with little baskets that my family and friends laugh at. If it's not in the family calendar, it isn't happening.

For me, embodying my most aligned life means being organised and prepared. It grounds me, makes me feel safe and I just straight up like it.

Because it's a Sunday, I wanted to share a few little things I do each Sunday to embody my aligned, organised and prepared AF true self.

  • shift my mindset: Sundays are known for sleep-ins, hangovers, “cheat-days” and as a lazy day. Don’t get me wrong, there is still plenty of time to do all of those things on Sunday, but I like to see Sundays as a productive day instead.

  • plan my week: I check the calendar for the week and add, change or remove appointments and events as needed for both professionally and personally, I assign tasks to my assistant and I meal plan.

  • write & prioritise my to-do list: I think this is self-explanatory, but I will mention I personally have a to-do list for every day of the week, I find this is the best way for me to get things done when they need to be done.

  • set my goals: how do I want to feel this week? What do I want to achieve this week? What do I want to improve on this week? I also like to reflect on the week just gone

  • clean my space: fresh sheets, clean office, mopped floors, kids things away, you know the stuff that makes you feel fresh and like a new person? That's the kind of things I'm doing here.

  • practise self-care: every Sunday is different for this. Sometimes it's a long walk or a bubble bath or a breathwork session or an extra-long meditation or a picnic with my family.

How do you spend your Sundays?
